The library is now testing the JETfind Research Assistant (RA); you can find it in the menu bar in JETfind. The RA is powered by Clarivate's Academic AI.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • You must be signed in with your Molloy credentials to use it
  • It is not the same as conducting a JETfind search, so results may vary because
    • The RA conducts a "Search other libraries too" search. You might see articles that the library does not have access to in full-text; for those articles, you can use interlibrary loan
    • It does not include the library's physical items or DigitalCommons@Molloy works
    • There are databases that did not wish to participate, so they are not searched by the Research Assistant. As of this post, those are: APA, DataCite, Elsevier, JSTOR, and Conde Nast
  • You can rate the results and summary with the thumbs up and thumbs down icons - please do as this gives feedback directly to our vendor
  • When you click "View more results from your library search," you will be brought to a JETfind search. This will show a boolean search string in the basic search box and filters that you are used to seeing. The 5 resources that the RA provided and summarized might not be the first 5 listed in that search result list, and this is due to how the AI & algorithm work
