If you're having trouble signing in to access resources, here are some possible causes and steps we suggest to try to resolve the issue:

Error Message: incorrect username or password 

Possible Cause 1: Entering your username instead of email address 

  • Enter the full email address for either @lions.molloy.edu or @molloy.edu accounts.

Possible Cause 2: Password is incorrect

  • If you can login to your email and Canvas, you should be able to login to library resources.  
  • Check to make sure that CapsLock is off and NumLock is on if you use the number pad. 
  • Slowly type your password instead of using a saved password. 
  • If you still get an error message, then you need to reset your password or contact the IT Help Desk for assistance. 

Error message: Account not found 

Possible Cause 1: Being logged in to a different Microsoft account in the web browser 

  • Option 1: Log out of that Microsoft account, and refresh your browser. 
  • Option 2: Open a different web browser so you can sign in with your Molloy information.

Possible Cause 2: Using Edge with your personal or work device that is associated with a Microsoft account 

  • Option 1: Open a different web browser so you can sign in with your Molloy information.
  • Option 2: (for @molloy.edu) Add your Molloy account to Edge. Then you will be able to switch between the two.
